Bill O'Reilly for the Public Option! | Crooks and Liars
(h/t Heather) Wow, Bill O'Reilly goes where the Baucus Dogs fail to go. In a place far, far away to explore strange, new worlds, and to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no ConservaDem has gone before.
Why does Bill O'reilly get angry very easily?
I know it upsets me like you wouldn't believe. My mom used to go off about how corrupt ACORN is and I usually just dismissed it as Fox News parroting as she pretty much pretty much quotes Bill O'Reilly's talking points verbatim every time I speak to her. Now she won't let me hear the end of it and forced me to admit to her that I was wrong.
At least most liberal shows abandoned any support of ACORN. I know the Daily Show did. Not that they had much of a choice. I'm curious how conservatives would handle a similar situation. I guess they did pretty much abandon Larry Craig. At least this didn't happen before the election.
Fellow liberals: does it upset you that conservatives were actually right about ACORN?
Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, and Glenn Beck....all multi-millionaire elites defending their fellow millionaires on a daily basis and the majority of their audience who are mostly lower-middle class love listening to it every single day.
You know these guys would never have anything to do with you, they would never invite you to their local country club or even to their mansions. You know that when they have conversations with each other at social events that they laugh at how gullible you people are for swallowing their propaganda. "Oh, but they seem so passionate and sincere!" Yea, because their paycheck depends on it!
Probably laughing all the way to the bank.
So knowing that the vast majority of you will never become rich, why do you still listen to it? You know they don't look out for your best interests. If the mainstream media was Liberal than you would see pundits like Keith Olbermann all over the place, but you don't because the mainstream media is not Liberal and you guys are extremely paranoid!Excellent link, thanks Big D
Why do average Republican voters enjoy listening to millionaires advocate for millionaires on a daily basis?
Flip to the fox news channel and you will always hear Bill O'Reilly go on and on about how their ratings are so dominant. To listen to him, you will think CNN and MSNBC are about to go out of business.
Can someone who knows about cable news ratings please explain how the ratings system really work because flip to CNN and you will hear them also say that they are the most dominant cable network. Who is wright.
Thanks

What do Conservatives think of Bill O'Reilly now that he said he supports a public option?
Bill O recently declared he's in favor of the public option. Being the first and only significant conservative figure to back an Obama idea.
Has he broken the agreement of dissent Cons made against Obama right from the start?
Is Bill O'Reilly a traitor?
He has to be sore between the legs from riding the fence.
I dumped Bill O-Reilly from my viewing. How about You?
I thought he was supposed to play the typical lying Conservative on Fox News. He actually supports a government program that could benefit the poor!!!!????

Study links 45,000 U.S. deaths to lack of insurance
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Nearly 45,000 people die in the United States each year -- one every 12 minutes -- in large part because they lack health insurance and can not get good care, Harvard Medical School researchers found in an analysis released on Thursday.

Even Bill O'Reilly said he would support a public plan that would allow anyone to pay into it.

So if we give the means for people to pay into a system that is cheaper than the private system, than what is wrong with that??I mean, we pay money for police, fire department, military protection, etc, why can't we pay into a system that will be there for us when we get sick?
The rest of the modern world ensures universal health care for all it's citizens, why can't we???It would be cheaper because private insurers make a 20-30% profit from taking your money and redistributing it to hospitals.
The gov't plan only takes 3% to run administrative costs and that's it. Effectively, that makes sure 17%-27% goes towards health care for the people who pay into it or to make the plans cheaper.
Those who make more money, should be able to pay more into the system.Greg: The reason why it's called a public option is because it's OPTIONAL. You can still keep your existing plan if you choose to.
The only people who would see their rates going up are the top 10% of the population who can afford it.
Let's see.......insurance companies and wealthy people will suffer a tiny tiny bit so that 45, 000 American lives can be saved each year.
Sounds like a fair trade off.Actually, if you look at statistics, the U.S has the most expensive health care system in the industrialized world.
The public option would actually lower costs because it will force insurance companies to compete by lowering their premiums.
Very simple my friend.
Why can't we give people the choice to pay into a public insurance plan if it will save lives?
have you read his books? the mans a genious
