The Prez Disses Fox News
The strategy of a full court media press is obvious. You dominate the media cycle for at least a day and likely more than that. So, President Obama will take to the airways and appear on every network including Univision. ...

On hearing the news this morning that The Economist is to charge for news content across its site I was wondering why they waited so long. The Economist is a natural for paid content in the same way that the Wall Street Journal and the ...
O’Reilly may be an idiot, but his team gets membership concept
Disclaimer: I think Fox News personality Bill O’Reilly is a big-mouth wingnut who spouts dangerous ideas. (Yes, Glenn Beck is worse.) I never thought I’d compliment O’Reilly, but I’ve been pondering voluntary membership models for news ...

Isn't it sad that even Bill O'Reilly has proved to be more rational, than the average McCain supporter on Y/A?
He has a very important guy vouching for him:

Can we put to rest questions about Obama's patriotism?
But according to Republicans, Fox News is the only news that reports fairly... does this mean that Obama is not as bad as SOME Republicans try to make him seem?:
http://www.billoreilly.com/newslettercolumn?pid=24183 suddently - well put, and I can certainly agree.
Even Fox News Celebrity - Bill O'Reilly has respect/admiration for Obama?
We all know that many conservatives do not agree with all of Sarah Palins life choices but are they moving toward supporting Obama?

And then look at this
"On the foreign policy front, Obama has convinced me that he is tough but cautious. He rose up quickly because he vehemently opposed the Iraq war. But now I see a man who understands the victory that has taken place in Iraq. I don't believe he wants to screw that up. I could be wrong.
After going mano-a-mano with Obama on television, I am also persuaded that he is a sincere guy—that he wants the best for all Americans. He's an ideologue, but not a blind one. He understands that his story is incredible, and, I have come to believe, he is grateful to the American system for allowing it happen.
It is true that we don't know whether Senator Obama has the ability to solve complex problems, but you can say that about all presidential contenders.
Like most politicians, Obama has used guile and good luck to accumulate his power. He can be ruthless, kind, unfair, and generous. In short, he's a real person trying to achieve an unreal position—that of the most powerful person in the world.
God help him."

Is Obama winning over Conservatives?
Some kind words from Bill O'Reilly in his latest column:

"The Barack Obama I witnessed is self-confident, determined and driven. He was acutely aware of his surroundings from the moment he entered the room. He looks you in the eye and touches your shoulder. He understands how to connect one-on-one.
On the foreign policy front, Obama has convinced me that he is tough but cautious.

Bill O'Reilly likes Barack Obama? What is going on here?

you can pose your question for Oreilly to consider. If there is a potent theme in the messages, you may hear that question in the interview. my opinion only.
Do you want to send in your question for Oreilly to ask Obama?
Currently, Hawaii, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Vermont, Illinois, Colorado, Wyoming and Idaho have refused to pass a form of Jessica's Law (which is mandatory sentencing standards for child sex offenders.)
Other states either already have passed a form of the law or are working their way toward it. But these 8 states have either refused to pass it or are at a standstill in the legislature.
What would possibly be keeping these states from protecting their children? It makes no sense to me.
For more info on these states. Type in this link: http://www.billoreilly.com/outragefunnel...
I used the oreilly link because it has a map of the states that have passed the law. Don't be so willfully ignorant!Consider the following:
• In Rhode Island, 18-year-old Josh Maciorski was convicted of having sex with a 13-year-old girl, but was sentenced to probation. Two years later he molested a 14-year-old girl and served just oneyear. Then, when he got out, Maciorski raped a 16-year-old girl. His sentence after this third strike - an unbelievable three years in prison.
• In Missouri, 19-year old Darrell Jackson pleaded guilty to repeatedly sexually abusing a little girl, beginning when she was just eight. When Jackson came up for sentencing, a soft judge gave him four months in prison and five years probation.
These incidences and many more just like them could have been prevented by passing at least a version of Jessicas law.

Why won't some states pass Jessica's law?
